Is there water for the animals? This is natural behavior but not always true. Animals can become so afraid that they do the opposite. In Mid-Wests floods the pig kept running back in the water and after they had been rescued and many died. Horses run back into barns that are on fire possiblibly because they are seeking comfort because they are afraid If just give water we don’t intake

Screen adoption applications, Animals recovery counselor works with people to help find there lost animals Documentation clerk works with Intake to do a daily update on all the animals

58 Help!! A large number of animals arrive at one time and there are not enough assistants to process each animal. What Do We Do?? We put them in a holding area until we can handle them properly. Get all the information we need to know about the animals and not let the person go until we are sure can reach them again.

59 Help!! A rescue team just returned with an animal and did not provide enough information to complete the animal intake form. What Do We Do?? Back track. Who brought the animals in? Where did they get the animals
