15 1. Typical Reaction 25 During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear

16 Taking a Direct way, He walked on
Jesus came to them. Taking a Direct way, He walked on water to meet them.

17 How did they React to this positive Act of Love and Care?

18 using our existing Internal Grid
We Understand and Interpret what we See using our existing Internal Grid

19 How we View and Receive any
What we Feed into our Mind will Determine How we View and Receive any New Information

20 Our Interpretation Will Determines Reaction

21 See Interpret React

22 See Ghost Fear See Science Dismissal

23 2. Incredible Ask 27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid.” 28 “Lord, if it's you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” 29 “Come,” He said.

24 Seeing their Fear Jesus Immediately Assured them: “It is I.”

25 “Lord, if it's you” What do we Dare to Ask if we know It is Jesus?

26 “You do not Have because you do not Ask.” (James 4:2)
Do we dare to Ask? “You do not Have because you do not Ask.” (James 4:2)

27 do I dare to trust Him to make me
If Jesus puts me in a storm, do I dare to trust Him to make me walk on water?

28 “Come!” Jesus was More Ready to Give than we are Ready to Ask!

29 III. Walk on Water 1. Walk in Faith 2. Sink in Doubt

30 1. Walk in Faith 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down
out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

31 “Peter got down out of the boat”
There is no Walking on water if we would not get out of the Boat!

32 2. Sink in Doubt 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” He said, “why did you doubt?”

33 why only now The Wind was there All this time, he “saw”?
“But when he saw the wind” The Wind was there All this time, why only now he “saw”?

34 by the visible threat of the wind
“he was afraid” He was Overwhelmed by the visible threat of the wind and Forgot the Power of Jesus.

35 “why did you doubt?” Do we really believe that Jesus Alone is Sufficient and Capable to hold us above the water?
