What is Hazardous at Home? 1.Examine the labels your team brought from home for common materials that may be hazardous. 2.Look for signal words that tell about a substance’s hazards.

–Your teacher will review your journal. –You will receive a “Safety Certification Card” as a proof that you can work with chemicals. –Paste the certification card in your journal (Activity 2). Safety Certificate

–Make a “Hazard Label” Poster Include: –Symbol (drawing) –Description of hazard –Precautions to protect yourself –Due: Monday, September 21 st Extra Credit: Hazard Poster Include brief description of the hazard. Precautions: explain how to protect yourself
