College Application Week Background The original college application fair was held at Belmont Technical College and Jefferson Community College. The new goal of the program is to provide all seniors at selected high schools the opportunity to apply to a college. What is college application week? Due to barriers in having seniors attend a fair on site, the original program is being revamped. With the help of technology we are bringing the application fair to the local high school. Due to barriers in having seniors attend a fair on site, the original program is being revamped. Our goal is to host a senior application day in each participating high school during late October and early November. This will be held in a room with computer access, where the senior will get assistance in applying to college via the Internet. School Participation To participate, schools have to contact OACHE using the website to sign up to be a college application site school.
