2 Acoustics- The physical make-up of a room and how sound reacts in it. A natural, unamplified sound/ instrument.

3 Cable- Used to interface a sound device to a mixer, amplifier, etc.. It’s the entire unit, including the wires and connectors.

4 Cord- Power Cable

5 Flux- Paste or gel used to clean surfaces for soldering. It also makes the solder flow smoothly and cleanly.

6 Lapel- Microphone worn on a shirt, lapel, collar, or sometimes in the hair. Sometimes called a lavaliere or body mic.

7 Microphone- Open-air input device that picks up and sends sounds into a mixer/ recorder/ amp.

8 Negative- Wire used to complete a circuit.

9 Processor- Device that adds effects to a sound.

10 Venue- Location for an event.
