4 What Characterizes a church ? “I know thy works…” (Rev. 3:15) Our works – what we actually do determines our character. – Stedfast -testing for Truth (Rev. 2:2) – Growing in deeds of love, faith, service stedfastness (Rev. 2:19) – Dead (Rev. 3:1) – Taking advantage of opportunity given – keeping the word (Rev. 3:8)

5 “thou art neither cold nor hot… I will spew thee out of my mouth” Not COLD – were not totally indifferent, heart not totally hardened

Complacency affected the whole church! - all were blind of true condition

Are you satisfied with your present spiritual condition? (Acts 2:42, I Pet. 2:9, Titus 2:14, Eph. 4:13, Phil. 3:10,13)

13 After supping with the Lord and He with you, would you see the need to be Zealous for the Lord?

14 Are you reading so many chapters a day and walking away unchanged?
