Course Requirements HOPE (1 credit) Fine/Practical Art (1 credit) Online Course (at least.5 credits): You MUST complete ENTIRE class. Ex. If you take World History, you must take Segments 1 & 2 = 1 credit (Art, Piano, Chorus, Band, Musical Theatre, Commercial Foods 2, Game Foundations, Intro. To IT)

Assessments You Must Pass to Graduate Algebra I EOC-must pass for credit Must take the following EOC’s- worth 30% of your grade (not pass/fail for credit) Geometry Biology U.S. History Algebra II (if enrolled) ELA FSA (2017, 2018 graduates) *In April* FCAT Reading (2015, 2016 graduates) *If you cannot pass FCAT Reading, you must obtain concordant scores on SAT or ACT.

Credits 9 th 10 th : 5 credits + 1 ELA or Algebra credit 10 th 11 th : 11 credits 11 th 12 th : 17 credits Graduation: 24 credits (assuming you have finished required courses, passed required assessments, and have a 2.0 GPA)

GPA 2.0 is required for graduation, as well as the participation in any sports For the purpose of scholarships, we recommend attaining at least a 3.0 For Honors: Add 1 point For AP: Add 2 points

Requirements 3.0 unweighted GPA Pass PERT Test: In order to pass this, you must have first taken Algebra II Meet with counselor Submit application to LSSC You may only dual enroll part time (2 classes a semester). You can attend during the Fall, Spring, or Summer. Free classes, free textbooks Must have your own transportation Seniors can enroll in the Early Admissions program. Requirement: 3.5 GPA, all classes taken at Lake Sumter

GPA on report card/transcript are not what Bright Futures look at. Everyone receives a Bright Futures brochure their senior year. Refer to Fl. Dep. of Ed. web site for more information.
