John 1:3-5 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

O Holy Night

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining; It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth

Long lay the world in sin and error pining, ‘Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth.

A thrill of hope– the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!

Fall on your knees. O hear the angel voices
Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born

O night divine, O night, O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming, With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.

So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming, Here came the wisemen of orient land.

The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger, In all our trials born to be our friend.

He knows our need– to our weakness is no stranger
He knows our need– to our weakness is no stranger. Behold your King, before Him lowly bend!

Behold your King, before Him lowly bend!

Christ is the Lord. O praise His name forever
Christ is the Lord! O praise His name forever! His power and glory ever more proclaim!

His power and glory ever more proclaim!

Glorious Day

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises, One day when sin was as black as could be,

Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin, He dwelt among men, my Example is He

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me; Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever; One day He’s coming— Oh glorious day!

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain, One day they nailed Him to die on a tree;

Suffering anguish, despised and rejected: Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He!

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer, One day the stone rolled away from the door;

Then He arose, o’er death He had conquered; Now is ascended, my Lord evermore!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me; Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever; One day He’s coming— Oh glorious day!

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming, One day the skies with His glories will shine;

Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing; Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me; Buried, He carried my sins far away;
