2. Man vs Man: Perry receives a letter from his sister, Barbara that is negative in context. Willie Jay writes an analysis about the letter, and it shows that Barbara is very annoyed and wants to do little with Perry. Man vs Self: Dewey and the other detectives work even when they are sick in order to close the clutter case. Man vs Man: Dewey in approached by a random ranch hands in Hartman's Café about why haven't they caught the killers yet and Holcomb is still on edge. Man vs Self: Floyed Wells debates with himself whether or not he should tell the authorities that it was Dick and Perry that killed the Clutters.
