3 3 How English Becomes International Language? CMU England started colonies in North America and India and later in Asia, Africa, and the South Pacific. After the Second World War, the United States became very powerful. Business moves globally.

4 4 Why English? CMU It is used for international communication. It is the language of international business, research, and science. It is used in Media: Radio, TV, Advertising, Newspaper, Magazine, & Internet.
