2  You are now going to reflect on your success in your second termly assessment.  Read through the statements for each question – these explain the things you could/should have included in your answer.  For each one highlight it:  Green or put a G next to it if you did it  Amber or put an A next to it if you partly did it but could have improved it or been more specific  Red or put an R if you did not do it at all  On your front sheet of your book – fill in the assessment name (Victorians), your mark and level and set three targets for your next assessment. Make these as specific as possible (not just write more/revise more)

The police are under pressure to catch the killer, nicknamed Jack the Ripper. The Queen has said he must be caught quickly.. You have interviewed 2,000 people including the following …

14  Read the evidence from your witnesses.  Produce a drawing based on their evidence of what the Ripper looks like.  You will have to try to identify common traits.  Add to your drawing a description of his approximate age, ‘killing time’, favourite places to go and any other useful information.  Read the section on ‘What did the police do?’. Does this suggest the police were effective or not? Explain why

15  You have key 5 suspects. Read the information about them and decide who was the most likely culprit. Rank them in order as a table  Read the recent article I will provide.
