Measures of Academic Progress™ (MAP)

What is MAP? MAP - Measures of Academic Progress Achievement tests (Math, Reading, Language, Science) Delivered by computer Teacher have access to results within 24 hours

How does MAP work? Questions appear on a students computer screen. Use the mouse or keyboard to answer questions. Test will adjust based on how students answer the question. It will build a test just for the learner.

Why take MAP tests? To find out exactly where students are currently performing. To help our teachers know what students should be working on to improve. Identification of the lower and higher performing students so that appropriate resources are used to meet individual student needs.

Numbers There are currently 157 partners in Wisconsin. Over 1200 partner in the US (2003). Over 3 million tests administered (2003). Currently approximately 24 million tests administered.
