2. We invite you to join us in our exciting cultural tour around Kazan. Kazan is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Russia. It is a thousand- year- old city with rich and unique history.

3. The best place to begin our exploration of Kazan is at the Kremlin. The Kremlin is unique because it discovers the history, the interchange of values between several cultures. It is the only surviving Tatar fortress. In 2000 the Kazan Kremlin became a monument of UNESCO World Heritage. It is the residence of the President of Tatarstan.

4. Here you will find the Annunciation Cathedral and the Suymbike Tower. The Kremlin was developed under the influence of 2 religious- Christianity and Islam. The Suymbike Tower is very dear to our city. It became the architectual symbol of Kazan.

5. On the right you can see the main mosque of Tatastan- Kul Sharif Mosque. It was named in honor of its last imam and one of the defenders of Kazan- Seid Kul- Sharif.

6. In front of you is the highest church of Kazan-Peter and Paul Cathedral.

7. And now pay attention to this outstanding sight of the city. It is Bogoyavlensky Cathedral.

8. Not far from you there is the original historical building- Alexandrovsky Passage. It was built in the 19 th century.

9. Dear guests! Don’t forget to visit and explore the National Museum of Tatarstan. You will enjoy a spectacular view of more than 700,000 items-a rich collection of national clothes, hand- written books, documents of many centuries.
