V Circle the verbs (list, name, tell, identify, give, describe, explain, compare, contrast). List them in the verb column. I Inform with details. Brainstorm ideas, examples, and details that are necessary to answer each part of the question completely. P Write the answer using phrases, pictures, or paragraphs depending on the power verb stated in the question (make a list, write in complete sentences, draw a diagram, chart, or graph).
