RULE OF THIRDS – DEPTH OF FIELD – PERSPECTIVE This picture includes depth of field because you can see that the background of this picture is blurred out to focus your eyes on the main subject, the stranger. It also has rule of thirds because the photographer did not center the stranger to make the picture more dramatic. I see perspective in this photo because its like he is looking down at you, so the picture must have been taken from a lower angle. LINE – RULE OF THIRDS I see line in this picture, I see horizontal line across the ocean, showing peace and calmness. I also see rule of thirds because the person who took this photo did not center the flag, instead he moved it slightly to the side so that our entire focus isn't the flag, but the sea. LINE – DEPTH OF FIELD The line in this picture is the fence, there are many lines going diagonal showing movement making your eyes move back and forth across the image so you can see everything. Depth of field is in this picture because your main focus is the fence, and sometimes having depth of field is important otherwise people might not see your photo for what you want it to be (in this case, the fence) they might be focusing on the background rather than the fence itself Owner: lovestruck License information: Attribution - Non-Commercial - Share Alike Photo URL: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lovestruck94/4246995213/sizes/m/in/photolist- 7thXHp-7thY2t-9PLQ14-asKwbq-fT4NLJ-7JTfAL-dkjrKw-fUwNuG-bjeqUp-9kVW63-9uCcBK- 7z3Jni-7z5u4z-9o5sUe-bqPgTS-8aTy7Y-8aQgcF-bjfFhX-8P2GUM-8fyvm8-9P8Tk5-bfXX9T- 9Qes4W-7xFAsi-87pSde-dSmZ7Q-9wAQj9-9wxNhr-9wAMKd-9wxLmK-9wAKTo-9wxMLB- 9wxPRz-9wAPF9-9wAQ7S-9wAJWJ-9wAQJw-9wxP5V-9wxLA2-9wAL7A-9wxN2x-9wxPbR- 9wxPDX-9wAK9s-9wxRv2-9wxQSi-9wxQgB-9wAMQ5-9wAPtj-9wxPqR/
PERSPECTIVE – LINE I see perspective because even though he did center this picture it is still very effective and even makes it look almost never-ending, I see line in a vertical form, which shows strength and power holding up the structure. LINE - PERSPECTIVE I see line in this picture because the fire swirling in circles shows movement and I see perspective because since he took this photo from the side it allowed you to see the full view of the flames. LINE – PERSPECTIVE – RULE OF THIRDS I see line because al of the diagonal lines from the construction leads you to the middle of the picture. By taking I from the side an at an angle it makes the photo more effective, that is perspective, but I also see rule of thirds, because by putting the construction slightly to one side, it helps you to also see the scenery. RULE OF THIRDS – DEPTH OF FIELD I see rule of thirds, because by putting the plant pot in the bottom left of the picture it helps you to see the background of the open sea and boats. I also see depth of field in this photo because behind the plant pot as you get further away it kind of blurs away the boats which to me makes it look effective. DEPTH OF FIELD – LINE - PERSPECTIVE I see depth of field in this picture because behind the flower tree the background is blurred to make this picture more effective. There is also line in this photo because each of the lines in this picture is a leading line to the main subject, the flower. I also see perspective cause the picture is obviously taken down and slightly to the side.
