2. Getting access to the lists.... Website address = www.learnaboutwork.org/lancs

3. Click on the picture to enter.. Enter your name here Enter your pin number here. Your form tutor will give you this.

4. Looking at jobs... Using the drop down boxes you can narrow down your search.... If you press ‘Go’ without any selection it will display all jobs.

5. Looking at jobs... A list of jobs available will show up and you can view the details by following the link at the side. To start a new search press ‘new search’

6. Read the job description. Pay attention to the location. (can you get there!!!) Look at working hours (can you complete them all!!!) You can print out the job description here If you want to add the job press ‘ Add Selection’

7. When you have picked 5 or 6 jobs you must put them in order of preference... If you want to delete a job press here Only press submit when you are sure you have picked the jobs you want... DO NOT PRESS SUBMIT IF YOU ARE NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR SELECTIONS IT IS DIFFICULT TO CHANGE THEM AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN MADE!!!!

8. WHAT NEXT... THE COMPUTER SYSTEM WILL BE SHUT AT THE END OF JANUARY. AT THIS POINT THE JOBS ARE ALLOCATED TO PUPILS. IT FOLLOWS A BEST FIT MODEL WHICH MAY MEAN YOU GET ONE OF YOUR OTHER CHOICES.
