1. 3. # 1 Disown Helplessness Matt Stutzman, Fairfield, Iowa "My feet became my hands … I had to learn that or do nothing in my life." Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Some people see things as they are and ask why? Possibility Thinkers see things as they could be and ask, why not? I may not be able to do everything, but we can all do something.

4. # 2 Take the Bull By the Horns Possibility Thinkers are: fearless full of courage Phil Carter “When I sence fear I go stright for the source of it."  1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Satan uses our fear to paralyze us or cause us to retreat. God uses fear to prepare us for danger, battle and victory.

5. # 3 No Whining & Complaining Never : Criticize Complain Condemn  Philippians 2:14 Do everything without complaining or arguing. Possibility Thinkers Strive to be:  a POSITIVE influence  an encourager not a complainer  an inspiration not a whiner  an igniter not a fighter

6. # 4 Ware Another’s Shoes Possibility Thinkers: Put themselves in other’s place See things through their eyes Experience understanding Empathize with others  Hebrews 13:3 Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. "Before you abuse, criticize or accuse walk a mile in their shoes."

7. # 5 Pursue Your Passion “Is this Heaven?” Dreams Purpose Passion Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Our Purpose: The reason for which we exist: our mission, our assignment Our Passion: A powerful, intense, overwhelming emotion, fervor, zeal.

8. # 6 Go the Second Mile  Matthew 5:41 If some one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Possibility Thinkers: Exceed expectations. While others settle for an acceptable solution,... they aren’t satisfied until they achieve the unimagined. They set expectations for themselves higher than those dictated by the people or situations around them.

9. # 7 Stop Stewing & Start Doing If your not satisfied with where you are, Change It! Some are parilized or crippled by anxiety and worry. Posibility Thinkers take Action!  John 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.

10. # 8 Prepare For Rain Two farmers praying for rain: Who was truly trusting God? Faith in God's providence must be coupled with our action. Are you preparing to receive God’s provisions? 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self- controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.

11. # 9 Follow Through to the End Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Possibility Thinkers are not only Starters they are Finishers. If you fall down seven times, stand up eight. Sir Winston Churchill said, “Never, never, never give up!” “If first you don’t succeed, …..."

12. # 10 Expect a Return God’s Law of Seedtime and Harvest 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.  Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
