Parents are a childs first and most enduring educators, and their influence cannot be overestimated... Family literacy, language and numeracy Family learning impact funding – Family Numeracy Benefits of attending family numeracy courses I hadnt realised until I joined the family numeracy course that I was using maths in everyday life and I was better than I thought I was. My son has been given extra help with his maths by his teacher as part of this course and we have joint sessions when we can all work together. I feel more confident to help all my children with numeracy now and I have just got my first maths qualification. When I have finished this course I think that I will join a family finance course – then look for a job.
