3. Aim of this project Cisco Systems, Inc. offers many training classes to its employee. So reports have to be generated regarding which employee took classes, in which location and which course he/she took. Previously reports were generated using MS Excel which was not at all user friendly, does not provide proper GUI, flexibility of changing report, filtering various data, lack of security access etc. To overcome these problems “Siebel Analytics” was used.

What is Siebel Analytics Siebel Analytics is a Business Intelligence technology Used for Dashboard applications Dashboards provide a structure for grouping information, enabling drill-down capabilities and displaying information in graphical and textual formats Basically follows dimensional modeling principle. Which means it has one fact table and two or more dimensional tables.
