Laocoon and His Sons, Greek sculpture dating from 28 BCE unearthed during an excavation headed by Michelangelo in 1506. Sculpture depicts Laocoon and his children being dragged to their death by sea serpents in retaliation for warning Troy to be wary of Greeks bearing gifts. The Greeks bearing gifts were Trojans and the gift was the Trojan horse!
