Memory loss that affects job skills Difficulty performing familiar tasks Problems with langiage Disorientation to time and place Poor or decreased judgment Problems with abstract thinking Misplacing things Changes in mood or behavior Changes in personality Loss of initiative

5 Does Alzheimer's Disease Occur in Younger Adults? Yes, though less frequently. The disaese can occur in people in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Most people diagnosed are older than 65. The form of the illness that strikes younger people accounts for less than 10 percent of all reported cases.
