17 Database Generic Risk Assessments of Feed Materials  First generic risk assessments in 1999  Decision 2003: a)Basic rule : GMP + certified companies use only feed materials from GMP + -certified companies (1999), and b)Additionally: feed materials must be listed in the Database Risk assessments Feed materials

18 Database generic risk assessments of feed materials Goals:  To avoid the use of incidental lots without a previous risk assessment  Helping hand for:  Company specific risk and hazard analysis  Supplier assessment  Reference for auditors in case of GMP + - certification  Transparency regarding production process and risk assessment towards the next links in de chain and towards official authorities
