9. What can Parents do! Have home computers in viewable places. Encourage discussions about what they enjoy on- line. Talk specifically about cyber bullying. Encourage children to tell you if they or anyone they know is a victim of cyber bullying. Explain that cyber bullying is an unacceptable behavior. Tell them safety concerns may override their privacy. Consider installing parental control filtering software. Teach them what information they can share on-line and what they can’t ( like telephone numbers & full name).
