Modified Block Business Letter
Modified Block Modified Block : Date and Signature block are left aligned in the center of the page: Standard letter Modified block letter
Turn on Ruler 1. Click on the View tab 2. Click the Ruler check box in the Show group
3. Select your entire document (CTRL + A) or 4. Chose Select from the Select list on the far right group Editing on the Home tab
Chose a left tab from the TAB Alignment Button Click on the ruler at 3.25 inches
1. Press Tab on the keyboard in front of the date, and the signature block (each line) 2. You can see the tabs (arrows) if you turn on the SHOW/HIDE button
Now the Date and Signature are left aligned at the center point!
To Remove Tabs Select All, Drag the tab off the ruler
OR 1. Or launch the Paragraph dialog box 2. Click on TABS…
3. Click on Clear All
