4 Initial Meeting with Client  What does he want on the site?  How does he want to handle shipping?  How does he want to bill customers?  How will he receive new orders?

5 Initial Project Objectives  Customer functions:  Display items  Customer purchase  View customer history  Log in/Password  Google checkout  Track orders  Administrative functions:  Add items  Delete items  Alter inventory prices  Issue tracking numbers

6 Database Information  Database diagram  Link on wiki  Created dual use Stored Procedures  Turned Stored Procedures into Data Sets  XML definitions of the tables used as objects

7 Code Information  Created email class  With or without an attachment  Login procedure  If you are not logged in, clicking login will take you to the login page  If you are logged in, your name will appear at the top of the page and clicking the name will bring you to the customer or admin page based on your status

8 Master Page  All other pages will open within this page  Contains name and logo we created  Layout theme and color were predetermined with client

9 Application Information  Cart Function  Keeps count of items in cart and displays at the top of the page  Category and Items Pages  Categories/Items load from database  Buttons are loaded dynamically and are links

10 Customer Information  Customers log in to the Customer Information page  Allows customers to view and edit personal information  Includes contact information, shipping address, billing address, and security question and answer  This page can be easily modified to allow customer to view and edit additional information such as their password

11 Order History  Displays basic information about customer’s past purchases  Includes invoice ID, total cost of purchase, shipping charges, and tracking number for package  Clicking tracking number redirects to UPS website where number can be copied and pasted  To view additional information about a specific purchase, a customer can click the invoice ID

12 Order History Details  Displays additional information about an individual purchase  Includes shipping and billing address associated with purchase in addition to info from Order History page  Customers can track their purchase from this page also  This page can be easily modified to display additional purchase info such as name and description of products associated with this order
