3. Introduction
Home
Dinosaurs – those mysterious creatures that man has never actually seen alive.
Why? They became extinct before man was around.
What causes some animals to become endangered and eventually become extinct while others continue to live and thrive?
How can our knowledge of animal adaptations help us to help all animals to continue living on our planet?

4. Task
Home
You and your teammates will research a specific animal to learn about how it has adapted to its environment.
After you have gathered information on your animal, your group will organize that information in a presentation. Your presentation can be a PowerPoint, a poster, a play, a video, or an idea of your own (please see the teacher for approval).

5. Process EVERYONE will research and collect information.
Home
EVERYONE will research and collect information.
One teammate will be the notekeeper.
The notekeeper is responsible for organizing the information everyone gathers on the animal in a presentable format.
One teammate will be the artist.
The artist is responsible for creating a picture of the animal showing the way it has adapted to its environment.
One teammate will be the manager.
The manager is to make sure everyone is on task and doing their assigned job.
The manager will be the person who will be the messenger to the teacher. (If anyone in your group has any questions, they must give the question to the manager to ask the teacher).
The manager will complete a daily ranking on how each member of the team is doing on completing their job.
