18 Current Initiatives Growth of ICER Traditionally between 60-80 participants Wanted more interest in CS Ed Research Desire to expand the audience ICER 2015 was the largest ever Growing International Interest in CS Education iSIGCSE (India) China and India have expressed interest in hosting ITiCSE in the future Working with organizations (ACM-Europe, Informatics Europe, …) & conferences (WiPSCE, ISSEP, CSERC, …) to create a stronger presence of CSE conferences in Europe for 2017 Increased international presence on SIGCSE board

19 Current Initiatives Cost of Membership In 2013 we determined dues were not covering costs Introduced two membership rates, paper ($45) and electronic ($25) Volunteers Working to expand volunteer pool Created a volunteer coordinator position and an online signup form Established term limits on many volunteer positions Have filled many new positions this past year
