5 From 2003 to 2012  4.4 percentage point increase in Minority Enrollment  3.4 percentage point increase in Targeted Minority Enrollment Indicator 1: Percent Enrollment of Minority Undergraduate Students Targeted Minorities include African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latino/a, Southeast Asian (Cambodians, Laotians, Vietnamese, and Hmong). Minorities include targeted minorities as well as Other Asians and Native Hawaiians. All Undergraduates New Undergraduates

13 Data on first- generation status is collected at the time of application. Question first asked in 2005. 18.9% of New Students (New Freshmen + New Transfers) are first-generation students. The ACT is only one of many academic factors considered in the admissions process.
