1 According to the Nielsen, the average American watches more than 4 hours of TV each day (or 28 hours/week, or 2 months of nonstop TV- watching per year). In a 65-year life, that person will have spent 9 years glued to the tube. I also watch TV in my hometown everyday. Average 2 hours per day. The reason why I don’t watch so much TV in Unite State is that I can not catch all the speaker saying People spent so many time on TV every day

3 Reasons People don’t use newspaper to red the news anymore. (Listening and watching is the most direct way to receive message.) People get addicted with TV. They became “Couch Potato” Children will go through the reading so fast, which lose the primary propose of reading.

4 advice TV is not a monster, you don’t need to be afraid with it, but you need to learn how to control yourself. To put it in another way, you need to know when you can watch TV and when you should not and how long should you watch TV per day. If you feel you are addicted with TV, you need to remove your attention away from TV. For example, you can join a sport team with your friend or go hiking with other in weekend. As a whole, just do any positive things you tend to do except focus on TV.
