Disaster Coalition Initiative  Not a replacement for other committees, councils or groups  Non-regulatory, non-competitive  Defined focus on resource management  Integration of plans for internal and external disaster preparedness  Coordination to assist ESF-8  Place to share outcomes and best practices

4. Goal To establish a network of hospitals, healthcare providers and associates who can and will cooperatively work together Before, During and After an emergency event to assure delivery of the best possible healthcare. Intended in the spirit of coordination and cooperation
