2. To form the present tense in German you just need to follow 3 simple steps. Step 1:choose the subject, i.e. The person doing the action. ich du er sie es wir ihr Sie sie Step 2: choose the infinitive of the verb you want to use and remove the -en Step 3: add the appropriate ending.

3. There are some strong verbs that dont follow this pattern all the time. These strong verbs follow the pattern in all forms except the du, er,sie and esforms.
