2 Music Targets “I Can” StatementsEvidence: How I achieved this? Play and perform in solo and ensemble contexts I can sing in the Gospel Choir confidently I can sing confidently in gospel choir. I can sing solos confidentlyI am really shy to sing solos in front of all of the whole of year 5. Use voices and instruments with increasing accuracy, fluency, control, expression I can do actions in time with the songs that we sing I can sing and do actions in time of the music to the rhythm. I can sing sensitively, paying attention to volume, and the style of music I can pay attention to the volume and the style of the music. I can tell whether my voice is a “Soprano” or “Alto I can tell that my voice is an alto or a soprano and I am a alto in the low pitch. Improvise and compose music for a arrange of purposes using the inter-related dimensions of music I can compose music using live instruments and technology No I cant play instruments and sing at the same time and I am not confident at the same time. I can improvise a drum kit accompaniment to a piece of hip hop music I do not like to have a piece of hip hop. 4 Targets “I Can Statements” Evidence: How have I achieved this? Other things that I can do I could do singing at home only but not at school because I am really shy to sing in front of everybody. I like to dance in ballroom and latin dance and I like it so much. I like going also to gymnastics and I only think it is fun aswell. Other things that I would like to do I would like to do also is how to learn to do is to do learn druming in samba.

6 Gospel Choir The songs we learnt where jump,rather be and we did seven songs I was in the group altosand I so much liked gospel very much.

7 Gospel Choir on 09 th In Gospel Choir as a class we learnt so many fantastic songs in gospel also we learnt how to do jump and all sort off kind like other song and it was hard learning them but it was fun as well but my most favourite song was rather be.I liked learning a lot of songs on a Thursday I liked learning songs so much.

8 Mr Salazar’s Comments Thank you for your thorough description of the choir. How do you know that you are an alto?not that good because some of them do not sing while some of them do sing and also I don’t like that so I want all of them to sing. Are you a confident singer? Yes I am but not a good confident at singing in front of all the year 5 because I am really shy.

17 20 May 2015 LO: To describe the time signature of a song. During this lesson, i listened to 8 different songs and wrote down whether it was 3 quarter or 4.

19 3 JUNE 2015 In music today I learnt on charanga and worked on what I had to do for my work.

20 10 June 2015 On charanga I done my activities and pasted it on my power point to show what I have learnt so he knows what I have done.
