AWIPS-II – CIs need to become recognized as official developers (similar to OAR/GSD, NWS/OHD) PG interaction with NWS operations –Need to have a liaison located at WFO or NCEP Center (like done now at SPC) –Could cover multiple WFOs Liaison associated with CIRA could reside in Boulder or Cheyenne WFO and also spend time in surrounding WFOs (Pueblo, Grand Junction, Salt Lake City) Liaison associated with CIMSS could reside in Milwaukee WFO and also spend time in surrounding WFOs (LaCrosse, Chicago, Green Bay) Liaison associated with SPoRT (at Huntsville WFO) could also spend time in surrounding WFOs (Mobile, Jackson, Birmingham, Nashville, Peachtree City) Liaison with NHC (associated with CIRA) could also spend time in FL WFOs
