1 Hadith Session 13 Ramzan Shahid

2 Hadith The Prophet (SAW) was asked about a more superior act in Islam
He replied: To feed a servant of Allah, and To make salaam to those who you know as well as to those you do not know.”

3 Hadith “You will not enter Paradise until you believe and you will not believe until you love one another. Let me guide you to something by doing which you will love one another. Say salaam to all among you.”

4 Hadith “Shaking hands denotes the completion of saying salaam.”

5 Hadith "Two Muslims will not meet and shake hands without having their sins forgiven (by Allah ) before they depart.''

6 Hadith “When two Muslims greet each with shaking of the hands, their sins fall off in such a manner as the leaves of a tree.”

7 Hadith A person came to the Prophet (SAW) and said “Asalamu-Alaikum”. The Prophet returned the greeting and said “Ten”. Another person came to the Prophet (SAW) and said “Asalamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullah”. The Prophet returned the greeting and said “Twenty”. Another person came to the Prophet (SAW) and said “Asalamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh”. The Prophet returned the greeting and said “Thirty”.

8 Hadith “He is more deserving of the mercy of Allah among the people who is first to offer salaam.”

9 Hadith “When two people are together, whether walking, sitting, or riding, the one who says salam first is free from pride.” (Or the meaning could be taken that Allah will take the pride out of his heart).

10 Hadith “Make salaam when you go to your family. It will be source of blessing to you as well as to the members of the family.”

11 Hadith “The younger person should say salaam to the elder person. He who is passing on the road should say salaam to those who are sitting. And men of a smaller group should say salaam to men of the larger group.”

12 Hadith A person made salaam to the Prophet (SAW) when he had sat down to urinate, and he did not reply.

13 Hadith The Prophet (SAW), when he came to the masjid at night, he used to wish salaam in such a low voice that those who were asleep did not wake up, and those who were awake heard the salaam.

14 Hadith “When you go to anyone’s house, make salaam to the inmates, and when you leave, leave by making salaam of farewell.”

15 Hadith A person asked the Prophet (SAW) permission to come in. He said: “May I come in?” The Prophet thereupon told his servant to go and tell him the correct way to take permission to enter was to say: “Asalamu-Alaikum, may I come in?”

17 Hadith Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim have related Abu Huraira’s (R) narration, he says, Jibraeel the trustworthy arrived in the presence of the Noble Prophet (S) and said, "This is Khadija, who is coming, she has with her a utensil in which there is curry (or he said food, or drink) …

18 Hadith (cont.) … When she arrives, give salaam to Khadija from Allah (SWT) the Most Glorious and Eminent One, and give her glad tidings of a house in Paradise which will be made of pearls." 

19 Surah 39, Ayat 73 But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened …

20 Surah 39, Ayat 73 … and its keepers (Angels) say, “Salaam Alaykum, Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter].
