4 Fresh Northwestern Cherry Salsa Our Ingredients: 2 cups pitted fresh or frozen sweet cherries 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil 1/3 cup finely chopped green bell pepper 2 tsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel 1/4 tsp salt dash of bottled hot pepper sauce This recipe serves 4 people

5 Directions: Combine all ingredients in a large non-stick skillet. Cook on medium-high heat just until cranberries begin to soften, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Spoon into bowls and top with low-fat whipped topping, fat-free sour cream or low-fat frozen yogurt, if desired.
