1 Christmas is a time to celebrate with your friends and family. Here are some ways other countries celebrate Christmas. Ashton Phan

2 Christmas Christmas is celebrated on December 25. On Christmas every one gets gifts. They eat food, play games, and play with there gifts. On Christmas people believe that Santa Claus brings them gifts. Christmas is celebrated in America.

3 KWANZAA DID YOU KNOW, EACH CANDLE MEANS A DIFFERENT PRICIPLE. It is important that the kinara not get confused with the menorah. Kwanzaa is celebrated the day after Christmas. The colors are black, red, and green. Kwanzaa is celebrated in Africa.

4 Hanukkah Hanukkah begins on the 25 day of Kislev. Each night of Hanukkah, the menorah is lit. Many traditional foods are cooked in oil. The Dreidel has four Hebrew letters that mean “nes gadol haya sham”. Hanukkah is a juish holiday.

5 china Dan CHE Lao Ren means “Christmas Old Man”. They hang muslin stockings, hoping that Christmas old man will fill them with presents and goodies. The main focus for Christmas in china is the children. People who aren’t christen call Christmas “spring festival”. They call this holiday Chinese New Year.

6 JAPAN Meri Kurisumasu means merry Christmas. On Christmas’ children hope to find presents from Santa Kuroksu. Hoteiosho is a priest with eyes on the back of his head. They have Buddhist monk(hotei-osho) deliver presents.

7 Australia In Australia, it is often hot. A traditional meal includes turkey. Australians surround them selves with “Christmas bush”. In Australia, they believe Santa comes on a surf board by the beach.

8 . Extra information On Hanukkah people play the driedel game. On Kwanzaa Each candle is lit a specific way. In Japan they call Santa “Santa kuraksu”. Chinese Christmas trees are called “trees of light” On Christmas People hope to find presents and candy.
