10 Question tags 反意疑问句 a question phrase (or “a tag”) to the end of a statement. e.g. It’s cold, isn’t it? We use question tags mostly in speaking, not in writing.

11 The structures 结构 (1) a negative tag: auxiliary + n’t + pronoun? ( 助动词 +n’t + 代词主语 )? e.g. It’s raining, isn’t it? We can go now, can’t we? You came home late, didn’t you?

12 A positive tag: without n’t. auxiliary + pronoun.? ( 助动词 + 代词主语 )? e.g.It isn’t raining, is it? You haven’t finished, have you? The structures 结构 (2)
