2 2 About Auto Shanghai 07’ Event: Auto Shanghai 2007 – 12 th International Automobile & Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (Apr.22-28, 2007) Location: Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Shanghai, China Participating Countries and Regions: 20 countries and regions Participating exhibitors: over 1300 exhibitors

3 3 Anti-counterfeit Booth Objective To promote the importance of IPR protection and QBPC organization. To Leverage media power on anti-counterfeit and brand protection To reinforce the public perception in China market to dangers of fake products and to prevent car owners of buying counterfeit parts. To generate the opportunity to enhance customer awareness of trusted brands.

4 4 Participants Total 24 companies and 4 associations participated the joint anti- counterfeit booth.

6 6 Booth Material Genuine vs counterfeit auto parts display - 1 pair of each participant with explanation tag. Sample Case for small parts Sample Table for big parts

7 7 Booth Material Poster (total 9 pieces) - QBPC posters (7 pieces) (IP in China/ QBPC introduction/ Genuine parts announcement/ City raid action in GZ and SZ/ Case study1,2/ QBPC activities) - AAM/ACEA/JAMA/AASA Statement - AAM/ACEA/JAMA joint poster

8 8 Booth Materials Pamphlet: with the same content of posters with logos of all participants on it. Total 6000 pamphlet were distributed during the exhibition. DVD display: 15 minutes DVD film included QBPC introduction and Genuine vs. Counterfeit parts contrast trail show, etc.

9 9 Booth Materials Questionnaire: Over 6,000 visitors came to QBPC booth during 9-day exhibition, 500 visitors filled up QBPC questionnaires and returned, among which 468 pieces are effective. Questionnaire Report

10 10 Visitors Over 6000 visitors came to joint anti-counterfeit booth. Visitors including: - Brand owner - Media - Government specialist/officer - Foreign parts buyer - Auto Sales - Parts supplier and manufacturers - General car consumers Exhibitors also showed large interesting in joint booth. Several companies expressed the willing to join QBPC organization.
