1 Introduction Hats of various shape and size have been worn by humans since ancient times for many different reasons. Unfortunately, most public schools in the United States do not allow students to wear hats during school hours. Students have the right to wear hats inside a school building just as much as they do when they are home.

2 Conclusion Students should be allowed to wear hats at all times. Hats are a form of self- expression, as well as a way to keep the head warm. If school administrations take away a student’s right to wear a hat, what will they take away next?

3 Reason Paragraph 1 The city should build more community bike trails because many people in Arlington enjoy bicycling. Surveys show that 80% of Arlington residents own bicycles. More bike trails would give these bike owners safer and easier places to ride without having to worry about car traffic or potholes. There are always a huge number of participants in the Fourth of July bike parade, further demonstrating Arlington’s love of biking. The city government should respond by giving its citizens more biking opportunities.
