2. Assessment is the systematic and on-going process of collecting and reviewing evidence about the College's academic and administrative programs and services and using it to evaluate these programs and services to improve their quality. It is focused on improving student learning and the services delivered to the College community.

3. ASSESSMENT Once the outcome is identified and the methods of assessment are chosen, the next step is to determine the measures for success or performance for each expected outcome. An Assessment Measure identifies how well a program is expected to perform on the assessment, or to what extent an objective is met based on its actual outcome. Measures can be quantitative or something tangible so that is clear that the objective was or was not met.

Feedback from the annual survey will indicate that 79% of the users using the newly improved IT services will be very satisfied or extremely satisfied with the newly implemented services.

6. DIRECT AND INDIRECT MEASURES Direct Measures are those designed to directly measure what faculty, staff, students, administrators know or is able to do and or the benefit of programming or intervention. Indirect measures, measure faculty, staff, students, administrators perception and satisfaction with the program or service.
