13 History Built in 1396 Removed in 1413 and rebuilt in the north Broke down in 1422 and reconstructed it again on the west side of Seoul. 16 Historical Significance Closing of this gate showed Korean’s lifestyle of living together with nature. Because it was closed due to geographical reasons Opened sometimes during droughts and floods
