2 The British Invasion was a great rise in popularity of British bands, hairstyles, and clothing during the 1960’s in the USA after the death of JFK. People turned to British fashion and music for comfort instead of domestic culture. The British Invasion influenced some of the “generation gap” between parents and teenagers.
