The total population in Beijing today can be as much as 20 million. History: Beijing was built in 11 th century, and the history of Beijing is more than 3000 years. There were several empires in Chinese history used Beijing as their capital, the first time was about 850 years ago. Among those empires was Ming Dynasty (AD 1368-1644) which used Beijing as capital starting 1421, the family name of the emperors of Ming Dynasty is Zhu, Milena has the same last name. Famous sightseeing places: Great wall, Forbidden City, Heaven of Temple, Summer Palace, Bird Nest Olympic Stadium (Olympic 2008), and a whole lot.
