14 Expanding the Field Site Idea New Features ✤ Program Infrastructure Supports: Coalitions of supporting departments Faculty research interests and activities Faculty development in international education (visiting lectures/ resident directors...) Curricular development linkages between departments here & there (including shared virtual classrooms, and shared student research projects). Developing strategic partnerships with universities around the world (local advocacy for new/expanded educational and research developments between Illinois and the host institution)
