Looking for bacteria expressing phosphatase activity, a proxy for phosphorus limitation Alkaline phosphatase ELF-PO4 New method (epifluorescence microscopy): - qualitative - allows detection of the origin of the activity ELF fluorescent, insoluble Methodolology : phosphatase activity
