My hour has not yet come.”

12. The Problem -
To run out of wine at a wedding feast was at least a huge embarrassment, humiliation and disappointment.
The truth is the world’s joys always run out.

13. The Messages - Whatever your problem… obeying Jesus is the answer!
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” (v5)

God’s desire is to fill you, cleanse you and give you a reason to celebrate.

Filled with water
End product was wine
6 is the # of man
Water symbolizes purity
Wine is a sign of celebration

20. The Messages - Jesus’ solution was better than the original.
and said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when [the people] have drunk freely, [then he serves] the poorer [wine]; [but] you have kept the good wine until now.” (v10)

21. The world offers the best at first,
with Jesus the best is yet to come!
Jesus is the answer to man’s (our) disappointment.
