1 PlantMesh Overview

2 What IS PlantMesh? Self Healing, High Performance, Severe Duty, Plant and Industrial Wireless Networking System Why not use wired networks? Expensive. Ethernet wired networks cost between $750 and $2500 PER DROP to install. Hard to expand. Labor, scheduling, contractors, several departments, wire testing, sometimes the duplication of wire simply to avoid labor costs. Hard to troubleshoot. Where’s the problem? Is it physical wiring or hardware? Hard to Repair. Where’s the problem? If it’s physical how do I get access to the wire? Incomplete coverage. If you add a piece of equipment, you need to add conduit, wire and maybe some hardware. Not Mobile unit compatible. A wired network is really hard to use on a fork lift.
