Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Requirements at the site Save place for two 20-feet containers MARL (AWI 002) + accompanying container (AWI 011) -spare parts -tools -additional PCs data storage online data evaluation internet router -office space -work shop solid ground (supporting a 10 t container) guarded
19
Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Requirements at the site The power supply German (Dutch?) standard 3phase high current supply: - 5-line cable: 3Phase+Neutral+Ground (no triangle connection) - 230 V, 400 V P-P, - 32A, 50Hz, 15kW another line (5 kW) for AWI 011 stability of the net? UPS?
20
Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Requirements at the site Other Infrastructure Access to -Internet -Telephone -Fax indoor space (not compulsory when AWI 011 is available)
21
Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Things to discuss: infrastructure container site - Distance to power supply - container side by side? - preparation of the ground stability of power supply internet access: -one fixed IP address -LAN (10 - 100 Mbit?) -and/or ISDN Access to site: day and night ? - Possibility to sleep over - Food supply? Accommodation? Transportation (rental car? bycicle?)
22
Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Things to discuss: contribute to WP5 Student practica, working with the instrument lecture at ADeK
23
Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Things to discuss: authorities customs - formalities -dead lines -fees -limitations (time period) permission for laser (air control, military ?) declaration of dangerous goods - small amounts of acetone, methanol, cooling agents, N 2 - - available on site? costs -infrastructure (internet, electricity, etc.)
24
Mobile Aerosol Raman Lidar Things to discuss: schedule MARL available from 7/04 to 12/04 campaign in dry period Sept - Nov 04 desirable to have radiosondes, in particular water vapor (snow white. persons involved -setup: Ingo Beninga, Wilfried Ruhe (partly engaged from Oct-Feb), Franz Immler -measurement: David Kaiser, Franz Immler, IB, WR -SETUP: -Campaign:
