3 If we use the money wisely then the specifications of the house will be met. And we could build a house that meets the requirements and specifications given.

4 Procedures Our first design was on the computer using www.floorplanner.com. This design did not work for what we needed because it only gave us the outer dimensions, but did not give us interior dimensions for the wall, windows and doors so that we could draw a blueprint. www.floorplanner.com We looked on line and found a floor plan that worked better. We drew this floor plan out on graph paper so that we could see the outer and interior dimension. We drew front, back, top and side dimensions. We used critical thinking to design the blueprint. We also discovered that the material used was important. The cardboard we started with was thin and was not sturdy enough to be used as the bottom support. We found a sturdy piece and used that, making our house much more stable. We drew lines to show where the interior walls would be taped. We had to have precision in our measuring and cutting. We used the blueprint to cut the walls, windows, and doors, both inside and out, before we placed them on the bottom piece of cardboard. Using the square helped to keep our cutting lines straight and square. As we cut we referred back to the plan using critical thinking to transfer from blueprint to model. The last part was to tape the pieces to build the house.

6 We cut too much off of one piece and we had to add a one inch piece. We found that making the circular columns was hard to make them come out the same diameter when we rolled them up. Some of the taping looks sloppy because of the angles we had to tape inside walls. Our first design was on the computer using www.floorplanner.com.
