5. Filters Subtractor has two resonant filters. Filter 1 is a multi-state filter. Filter 2 is a Low Pass Filter. Low Pass 4 pole Low Pass 2 pole High Pass 2 pole Band Pass 2 pole Band Reject (notch) Filters can be linked or independent. When linked LPFs act as a 6 pole filter Cutoff Frequency Resonance accentuates the cutoff frequency For Notch and Band pass Filters, resonance control functions as Cutoff freq 2.

6. Envelope Generators EGs are used to change a signal over time. ADSR Attack Time - How long it takes to reach full volume Decay Time - Time it takes to move from full volume to the Sustain Level Sustain Level - Sustained level, continues until key is released Release Time - Time it takes to go from Sustain level to silence after key is released. Amp and Filter EGs are hardwired. Mod EG can modulate different devices. Amount of modulation can be attenuated on Filter and Mod EGs Invert EG signal

7. LFOs Unlike EGs, LFOs loop continuously Sync to tempo Frequency Mod Amt Mod Target Waveforms Last two “waveforms” are random and function as Sample-Hold. Keyboard pitch can modulate the LFO frequency LFO signal can be delayed

8. Frequency and Ring Mod Frequency modulation and Ring Modulation use an audible range oscillator to modulate the frequency of another.

9. More Modulation Key velocity is used to modulate these parameters. Pitch Bend can be set to 1-12 half steps Wheels can be played manually, automated or by CV Mod wheel can be assigned to various parameters Aftertouch and MIDI CC 11 (Expression) and CC 2 (Breath) can also be used as a mod source
